Shahrizat satisfied with Wanita UMNO election preparation

KUALA SELANGOR: Wanita Umno head Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abd Jalil is satisfied with the preparations made by the movement's election machinery to help secure victory for Barisan Nasional (BN) in the coming general election.

 

She said the Wanita Umno members were committed and worked hard to ensure the movement remained strong.
 
"I'm happy with their achievements at all levels. They are ready to face the general election," she told reporters after opening a 'Mahabbah Ramadhan' function at the Jamiur Ridhwan Mosque in Jeram here today.
 
Shahrizat said the women voters were now seen to favour BN with various programmes carried out by the federal government to improve their livelihood.
 
At the function, Shahrizat also presented Aidilfitri aid to the needy. -- BERNAMA
