AID APPEAL: Kids need urgent help

I REFER to the report "Three kids seek funds for surgeries" (NST, April 4).

Eight-day-old Nur Izzatibahira needs an arterial switch operation costing RM50,000; 13-month-old Sutarshan Nagendran needs RM38,000 for her congenital heart disease operation; and 5-month-old Tan Zhi Ying needs an operation for congenital heart disease with a ventricular septal defect, costing RM35,000.

These little ones are from the three main races in the country.

This is 1Malaysia of sorts, but a sad one. I hope kind souls or companies will step forward to ease the burden of their families.
