CHIEF SECRETARY TO THE GOVERNMENT: I have no doubt Ali will deliver

HEARTIEST congratulations to new Chief Secretary to the Government Datuk Seri Dr Ali Hamsa, who is from Kluang, Johor.

With his vast experience in government service, I am sure he will deliver the goods to the expectations of all. I am glad to note that he has also pledged to look into increasing the number of non-Bumiputeras in the civil service. This needs to be addressed.

To outgoing chief secretary Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan, I say this: during your tenure of service, many government departments such as the Immigration, Road Transport and Registration Department, have improved.

The public is satisfied and happy with services rendered to them.

I would also like to thank the Pensions Department for its efficiency.

I hope it gets more perks for its good work.
