LAST Thursday morning, my attempt to get a new pack of 3-in-1 Milo was futile.
The clerk at the supermarket argued that it was not their fault that one sachet in the pack I bought earlier was defective. Moreover, my receipt was dated Jan 12. She suggested that I contact Nestle at their toll-free number.
I came home and dialled 1-800-88-3433. The Nestle representative was so courteous. She took down some details and told me a representative would come and see me the next day. She apologised twice for the defective sachet.
And true enough, Benjamin, the Nestle representative, came to see me. After taking down some details, he handed me a new pack of 3-in-1 Milo. This is what customer service is all about.
