EURO 2012: Our coaches can learn from these matches

EVERYTHING has taken a back seat for a while now because of Euro 2012, the second most exciting football event after the World Cup.

Some of us will be watching the event at stadiums in Ukraine and Poland, while the majority will be watching the matches on television from their respective countries.

Most football fans throughout the world will be enjoying the games and, at the same time, supporting their teams.

Malaysian fans are just spectators. Besides the benefits of watching Euro 2012 as a world-class football event, individuals such as football coaches in the premier league and others must grab the opportunity to learn useful tips and strategies so they can improve their teams' performance.

Just watching the event is not good enough. They must record the games and learn the essence of playing excellent football.

From these recordings, they should be able to make useful analyses of the group games and final round matches.

I hope our coaches will not hesitate to take the opportunity to learn from Euro 2012. The ball is at your feet, coaches.
