    PENSION REVISION: It shows the govt cares

    I WISH to express my gratitude to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak for reviewing the pension.

    Pensioners have every reason to be happy and contented.

    Their monthly pension has been increased by 13 per cent from last month.

    This gesture is reflective of the government's appreciation of the pensioners' service to the nation and its concern for their continued well-being.

    I am sure there are thousands of pensioners who feel the same way as I do, as the increase will go a long way to tide over the rising cost of goods and services.
