I ATTACH a photograph of my water filter which I replaced last week. It is a standard 5 micron polypropylene sediment filter for the removal of sand, silt, dirt and rust articles from water.
After one day, the filter had trapped what looked like a layer of brownish silt or rust.
I am glad I installed the filter from the main pipe into my house to trap all the silt and dirt.
I moved into my present home in 1997.
This has been going on for too long. I know for a fact that our water treatment plant produces clean potable water. I think the problem lies with the main pipes which are old and corroded.
Can the authorities look into solving this dirty water issue before it causes health problems for the people?
