KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's largest abandoned housing project of some 2,536 units will be revived through the initiatives of Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB) and private property developer NCT United Development Sdn Bhd. The housing project is located in Bandar Baru Salak Tinggi, Sepang, and was classified as an abandoned project in 2002.

"We decided to take the initiative and look for a 'white knight' for the project in an effort to address and resolve our corporate legacy accounts.

"These accounts have been unresolved for more than 10 years," said MBSB president and chief executive officer Datuk Ahmad Zaini Othman.
