FENG SHUI: A prosperous Water Snake Year ahead

REBOUND: All sectors of the economy including property are expected to pick up strongly in 3Q 2013

Good Feng Shui® analysis shows that 2013 the Water Snake Year will bring forth lots of great and new opportunities.

This is a year of “Correction”, as we will experience lots of new systems, leadership, rules, regulations, etc in all fields. Therefore, in all of the undertakings, one must correct all the wrongdoings or underperforming sectors, in order to continue moving forward in the uncertain situation.
We must proactively equip ourselves with sufficient knowledge, capability and network so that we can adapt to the leverage these opportunities offer. 2013 is expected to be a vibrant and dynamic year, despite lots of uncertainties especially in the months of April, June, July, August and October. However, the pressure from these months will push everyone to be transformed positively to greater heights. There will be lots of positive changes and surprises to be seen in all fields in this new era.
Those old and traditional products, services or even the usual ways of operating in various sectors such as politics, socio-economy, relationships, thinking methods, etc will be replaced by new and more creative methods, systems and inventions.
People will need to gather greater wisdom and knowledge, as well as work together hand in hand to achieve the targets that benefit all.
Good Feng Shui analysis indicates that the Wealth Stars will be more prominent in 2013, the year of the Water Snake, as compared to the previous year. It will bring forth plenty of exciting prosperity throughout the year, especially if we know where and how to dig out the hidden treasures.
The frequent occurrences of natural disasters and extreme weather conditions may continue to impact negatively the commodity and food chain supplies to many parts of the world. Therefore, prices of commodities and natural resources are expected to rise. However, the degree of natural disasters will not be as bad as in recent years.
Property sector to shine
The property sector is expected to be more active again despite the challenges and uncertainties faced in 2012. This is especially so when entering the third quarter of the year.
In the first half of the year, even though we foresee bank interest rates to remain attractively low, the volume of property transactions may not be so active, partly due to the more stringent rules and guidelines imposed by the bankers.
Therefore, Good Feng Shui foresees there will be a trend of oversupply scenario, especially in the office space and condominium segments. Property developers also tend to be more careful in all the mid-term development plans.
Upon entering the third quarter, the property sector is expected to become more active and the rebound will be strong. Most of the property developers will emphasise more in attracting purchasers and investors from overseas, such as those from China, Singapore, Korea and the Middle-East.
We foresee that most developers will emphasise more in implementing good Feng Shui designs in their projects as potential investors from the above said countries look at Feng Shui implementation as a very important unique selling point from the developers.
Properties located in the central, west, northeast, northwest and southern regions which include Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Penang, Johor, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, Sabah and Kelantan will have more room for appreciation and investment opportunities. In particular, properties in Penang, Sabah, Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Selangor will continue to perform well and be steadier.
In Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, landed properties will still be the better choice for investment. Besides the recession-proof Golden Triangle area, other areas such as Seri Kembangan, Cheras, Sungai Long, Kajang, Seremban and Kepong are expected to have better returns during this economic revival stage. Property and land prices in the outskirts especially agricultural and industrial units, are expected to rise too.
Strong rebound in all industries
The rebound in all the fields will be great and strong in 2013.
As in the stock market, we foresee ample good investment and business opportunities despite the presence of risks. The turnaround situation after entering the second half of the year will be tremendously great. Those industries relating to the Earth and Metal elements will benefit more in this Water Snake year.
The Earth and Metal-related industries which include land and property, fast-moving consumer goods, mining, gold, steel, copper, iron, banking and finance, automobiles, infrastructure, security services (including internet security systems), food and beverage, legal, politics and related industries are expected to benefit the most upon entering this new era in the 2013 Water Snake Year.
Houses facing North, Northwest, Northeast and South will be showered by lots of prosperity energies. In particular, houses or offices with main doors facing South, North, and Northeast, will see more happy events for celebrations such as business or career advancements, pregnancy, wedding and better opportunities in wealth creation and accumulation.
From the Good Feng Shui viewpoint, it is advisable to repaint the house or office before the Lunar New Year, with suitable colours, in order to bring new breath and fresh life into the new year. This will activate and revive the energy of the premises and continue to bring lots of good fortune to us.
The Good Feng Shui Lucky Colour of the year is Purple. The bright and energetic Purple colour, just like the awakening morning mist, rejuvenates the body, mind and soul, and represents the beginning of a brighter future for all. Purple colour also indicates intuition and spirituality, which are able to trigger creativity and a ‘think-out-of-the-box’ attitude in our lives. For instance, to paint in purple the feature wall in the Southeast, North, Northwest or West sectors of the house or office, can result in lots of positive energy and great fortune which promote good health, wealth, harmony and prosperity.
In this new ‘Correcting’ year of 2013, we must all react fast enough to the market opportunities and changes, handle the uncertainties calmly with a clear mind, manage challenges and life's decisions wisely, work hand-in-hand with potential working partners and leverage on others’ strengths so that we can eventually leverage on the opportunities
