Ganesh T.@Port Klang: Please advise how many mortgages one can have at any one time? Does it make a difference if it is a mortgage directly under my own name, or if it is in joint names with other parties?

RED: You can have as many mortgages as possible as long as the banks are willing to lend you. Yes, it does make a difference even if you are a single or joint borrower.
