ABOUT 320 primary school children participated in the 2nd Milo "Play More Learn More" Sports Camp at KRT Taman Intan Duyung in Port Dickson on Sunday.

Datuk Azman Amin Hassan, the Director General of the Department of Racial Unity and National Integration in the Prime Minister's Department, officially launched the camp.

The children were taught the basic skills of futsal, basketball and netball by qualified coaches.

The sports camp was unique as the responsibility of organising it was given to the KRT Taman Intan Duyung under its chairman, Syed Shukri Nizam Jafaar.

Ng Ping Loong, the Sports Marketing Manager-Nestle Products Sdn Bhd, said: "Sport is a good teacher of life's values and is also an effective way to promote the spirit of patriotism, racial integration and unity in our children."

T-shirts and certificates of participation were given to all the children. The top four teams in the three sports received winners' medals and Milo products. Participants were also treated to light breakfast and lunch.
