BRAZILIAN striker Arthur Henrique, who "suddenly" left Johor FC, will be coming back to the team for the Malaysia Cup competition.

Arthur, 29, who had rushed home on June 29 to solve some personal matters, had informed Johor FC he would be back.

Johor FC are drawn in Group A with Lions XII, PKNS FC and Johor for the Malaysia Cup competition which kicks off on Aug 22.

Arthur, who is Johor FC's top scorer with 16 goals in all competitions, had earlier told team officials that he was "not fit and not in the right frame of mind" to play.

He has promised to return for the Malaysia Cup competition but there were doubts after he failed to keep in touch with the team management after returning to Brazil. Arthur was not his normal self after his wife went back to Brazil following the death of her father who was shot dead.

Johor FC secretary Tahir Hamdan said he had already booked flight tickets for Arthur and his mother from Sao Paulo to Singapore for Aug 12. But there is no news on his wife.
