PETER Butler is going nowhere.
The Terengganu coach, who began his six-month suspension yesterday, said he was not taking any action, at least not at this time.
The 46-year-old Englishman said he only knew about his suspension, RM4,000 fine and 15 per cent pay cut on his next month's salary from newspaper reports.
"I have yet to receive any official correspondence from the Terengganu FA and until then, I will not be able to do much.
"But even when I receive everything in writing from the association, I reckon I will still be here," he said.
The coach said some people might be hoping that he would be unhappy enough with the punishment and just pack up and leave.
"That is not me as I am a man of principle and I have approached every job the same way, wearing my heart on my sleeve.
"I am also committed to what I do and I love coaching but there is no half measure as we either do it the right way or not at all."
Butler, who still has 15 months left on his contract, said he will respect the decisions made by the association.
"Of course I will have no choice but to talk to my lawyers when I receive all the papers but that does not mean I am leaving Terengganu.
"I came here to do a job and I will not leave until I finish what I came here to do," said Butler, who admitted that everything he had done since his arrival in May was for the good of Terengganu football.
