BRUNEI'S DPMM FC coach Vjeran Simunic believes Wan Zack Haikal Wan Noor, who plays for Young Tigers A in the S-League, should ply his trade in Europe.
Simunic praised Wan Zack in a press conference after his side lost 2-1 to the Tigers in Bandar Seri Begawan on Sunday.
Wan Zack, a trainee for the AFF Cup, put Tigers ahead before Shahrazen Said snatched the equaliser for the hosts in the second half.
Wan Zaharulnizam Wan Zakaria settled the outcome with a superb strike three minutes from time to earn Tigers their ninth win of the season.
"Their skipper Mahalli Jasuli is good, and Wan Zack, I think half of Europe is after him. This team can easily be champions," Simunic told www.sleague.com.
Wan Zack, 21, a member of last year's Sea Games winning squad, has caught the eye of several clubs and the winger could be the next local to play in Europe after Nazmi Faiz, who has signed with Portuguese Premier League side Biera-Mar.
The youngster also had a successful trial with Japan Football League (Division Three) outfits FC Ryukyu in July.
