Nazmi off to Portugal

YOUNG Tiger Nazmi Faiz Mansor is all excited at the KLIA yesterday before flying off to Portugal to chase a dream.

Nazmi, 17, hailed as a football wonder kid, describes his upcoming one-week trial at Portuguese Division One club Beira Mar as exciting and says he is eager to prove himself.

"I'll make sure I get selected. Pray for my journey and so I get selected," he says.

After catching the eyes of an international football agent for his sparking show with Young Tigers in the Singapore League, Nazmi was offered a trial with Beira-Mar in Aveiro from May 13-21.
