SAFEE Sali will lead Malaysia's strike force in next month's full international friendly matches against the Philippines and Singapore.
Malaysia play the Philippines on June 1 before taking on Singapore in a two-leg friendly on June 8 and 12.
National coach K. Rajagobal will use these matches to gauge his players ahead of the AFF Cup in November.
Safee is having an excellent season with Indonesia Super League side Pelita Jaya, where he has scored 16 goals in 20 appearances.
However, the 28-year-old has not scored for Malaysia since his brace in their 3-2 defeat to India last December.
Safee failed to find the target in Malaysia's matches against the Philippines (1-1) and Sri Lanka (6-0).
"I am not under any pressure but of course I must score or risk losing my place in the team," said Safee.
Rajagobal named his strongest squad for next month's matches and with the exception of players from Kelantan and Terengganu, the rest reported for training at Wisma FAM in Kelana Jaya yesterday.
