    Student wins exclusive City jersey

    SHASMAIDI Adzhar Mohamad Shah became the proud owner of an exclusive Manchester City jersey when he was selected as the winner from readers of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's blog, www.1Malaysia.com.my, in conjuction with a friendly match between the Premier League champions and the national team. The jersey was presented to the private college student from Kuantan by Manchester City star Carlos Tevez, after the team trained at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium yesterday, the event organisers confirmed.

        Manchester City will meet Malaysia at the same stadium today. Kick off is at 9.30pm.

        The prime minister's blog also offered its readers tickets priced RM108 and RM388 for free.     Najib, in his blog, said he believed sports was powerful enough to unite the community regardless of age, race and ethnicity.

        "Unity through football can be seen in Malaysia and is something that can pull people together despite differences," he said.

        The prime minister also expressed his happiness that 50,000 tickets were now being sold at an affordable price of RM10 each. Bernama
