SUBANG JAYA: Ayam Dindings' Love is Caring and Sharing team brought joy and laughter to the children of the House of Joy in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong, recently.
They spent half a day playing games with the children and organised a special lunch for everybody.
Led by Dindings Poultry Processing Sdn Bhd general manager Tony Wo, the team held a drawing and sand art colouring contest for the children.
The children also got the chance to pit their skills in a sandwich making contest using Ayam Dindings products such as chicken sausages, chicken nuggets, chicken meatballs and lots of salad and vegetables.
"This is our second children's home visit this year. Earlier, we visited a children's home in Cheras and spent half a day with them.
"We plan to do more of such visits regularly and help wherever we can," said Wo.
He said it was "food for the heart to see the smiles on the children's faces" during the visits.
Malayan Flour Mills Bhd managing director Teh Wee Chye, who joined the visit to the House of Joy, presented a refrigerator and four table fans worth about RM1,500, and Ayam Dindings products as well as MFM products to the home.
Dindings Poultry Processing Sdn Bhd is a member of the Malayan Flour Mills Group.
The children's home is temporarily located in Bandar Kinrara. It was damaged by fire last year and is now undergoing reconstruction.
