HEALTHCARE:Youngsters are encouraged to use Himalaya’s herbal products as they can help preserve the youth of their skin
IN encouraging more youths to use natural products as part of their skin care, Embun Elit Sdn Bhd, the distributors of Himalaya products, used its Neem Mobile Truck to deliver the message recently.
Its first stop was the Multimedia University in Cyberjaya, followed by INTI University in Nilai and Universiti Selangor.
It will be heading for Sunway Pyramid on Sunday, TAR College (Sept 19), Universiti Malaya (Sept 20) and Wangsa Walk on Sept 29.
Embun Elite general manager of marketing Denise Yan said the campaign was aimed at educating the younger generation about the goodness of Himalaya products.
"Neem was extensively use by the Indians and Malays as a natural therapy for various skin diseases," said Yan.
Neem has anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and blood purifying properties. The stem, root and bark possess anti-periodic properties which is beneficial in fighting diseases like malaria.
"We hope to emphasis the importance of skin care and well being with our products," she said at the launch in Shah Alam City Centre (SACC) mall recently.
The Himalaya range comprises hair care, skin care, body care, baby care and also pure herbs.
"Our products are sold at reasonable prices ranging from RM26.90 onwards. We are confident that the youth will love Himalaya products."
Yan said among the activities planned during the road shows include Xbox games, lucky draws, games and special appearance by celebrities and bloggers.
"Himalaya's team of experts will also be there as we are having a free skin consultation session.
"Also, anyone who spots the truck and takes a photo of it can redeem prizes at selected Himalaya outlets."
Among the artistes present at the launch were Prema Yin and Sharifah Sofea.
