PETALING JAYA: After eight years in Sunway Pyramid, hairdressing and couture chain, A Cut Above Academy, has now moved to a bigger place in Dataran Mentari.

The official opening took place recently with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by A Cut Above founder and chief creative director Winnie Loo, its managing director Richard Teo, head of the academy Peter Wong and Henkel (M) Sdn Bhd general manager Craig Sheppard.

To commemorate the event, a hair show was held by the academy's talented students. The  show included an avant-garde collection as well as a  tribute to the late Vidal Sassoon, the iconic British hairdresser.

Guests were entertained  by artiste Vic Teo, Crystal Lee and Koujee Beatbox.
