    PUCHONG: Guests were dressed in traditional finery at a dinner organised by the Malaysia Paper Merchants Association (Mapma) recently.

    The dinner at the swanky Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Club carried the theme "An Evening Of Extravagant Traditional Costumes".

    Among the guests were representatives of paper  companies such Rainbow Paper Supplies Sdn Bhd, Modern Alpine Sdn Bhd, Behn Meyer International Trading Sdn Bhd, Upp Paper Supply Sdn Bhd and New Top Win Corporation Sdn Bhd.

    Mapma president Yvonne Yap said guests were treated to a Chinese acrobatic and magic shows. There was also a  karaoke session.

    Yap said: "In keeping with the theme of the night, the guests came dressed in their best traditional   costume. The three best dressed couples received prizes."

    Senator Kohilan Pillay was the guest-of-honour.
