SPOILT FOR CHOICE:A team of Klana Resort chefs offer over 100 mouthwatering dishes

IN conjunction with Ramadan, Malaysians can once again look forward to the mouthwatering array of buka puasa food around the country.

Executive chef Abdul Razak Abdul Ghani, along with his team of Malay chefs, will be preparing a selection of more than 100 authentic kampung-style dishes at Klana Resort, here.

Klana Resort Seremban general manager Danny Malik said the buffet theme this year is Bazaar Ramadan.

He said the theme was in line with bringing an authentic feel to the buffet.

"The 16 stalls we are setting up would provide customers with a great mix of food for all races to enjoy," he said.

He mentioned the kambing panggang as the main speciality of the promotion.

There will also be buffet corners comprising of appetisers, soups, main dishes, drinks and desserts.

Desserts available would include assorted  kuih, jellies, pastries, cakes and goreng-goreng.

Chef Razak who has been working at the hotel for 21 years would be highlighting dishes from Negri Sembilan, as part of his showcase for the promotion.

One of that would be the masak lemak daun kayu.   He will also be dishing out a few must-try appetising dishes such as ayam percik, sembilang salai lemak cili padi, lemak tempoyak udang, puyuh tandoori, kurma udang Johor and black pepper crab.

The food promotion will be priced at RM60 for adults and RM36 for children aged 4 to 12. Children below the age of 4 get to eat for free.

Limited special Ramadan Buka Puasa vouchers offering a 16 per cent discount are also on sale.

For adult guests in a group of 11, one person will get to eat for free.      However, this offer is not applicable to the special voucher promotion.

The attendance of an imam and prayer rooms will be arranged for those who would like to conduct maghrib, isyak and terawih prayers.
