MIX AND MATCH:Customers personalise their footwear to commemorate Havaianas’s 50th anniversary

THE iconic Brazilian flip-flop brand, Havaianas, recently organised its inaugural "Make Your Own Havaianas" (MYOH) event where customers could customise and personalise their pair of flip-flops.

The event was in conjunction with its 50th anniversary celebration.

Customers selected their style, mixed and matched their favourite colours, soles and straps, and then embellished them with pins.

Then they approached the friendly staff of Havaianas who assembled the special flip-flops on the spot.

The personalisation was only for its Slim and Top styles.

The Slim style was priced at RM100 while the Top was priced at RM83. The decorative pins were priced at RM3.50 each, providing customers ease in creating their own unique pairs.

Viva Brasil Sdn Bhd country manager Kho Min-Jee said the activity was a perfect platform to celebrate its  anniversary.

"Havaianas is world renowned as more than just a flip-flop -- its name expresses fun and happy fashion with carefree spirit.

"We want to inspire Malaysian consumers with these positive brand values through special customisation event.

"This is not just about designing flip-flops, but also an activity to create beautiful memories with our customers as they commemorate our 50 years' milestone," said Kho.
