KUALA LUMPUR: The Dukes & Duchess Kuala Lumpur restaurant bar was officially opened here recently.

One of the owners, Ian Ong, said that Taman Tun Dr Ismail  was chosen to target the high end market in  the neighbourhood.

"We used dark wood and sumptuous wall coverings adorned with dark soft fabric drapes to suit the restaurant's name," he said, adding that there was also a private VIP corner.

The restaurant bar offers European cuisine ranging from tapas, steaks, burgers, pastas, soups and salads.

Its bar carries a long list of premium malt whiskeys, vodkas, tequilas, gins, rums, wines, champagnes, sangrias, cocktails and mocktails.

It opens daily, except Sundays, from 4pm to 2am.
