KUALA LUMPUR: ICI Paints (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd recently unveiled its Dulux EasyClean, a product that makes removal of common household stains a simple matter without having to worry about damaging the paint.
ICI Paints (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd managing director Goh Cheok Weng said the product is suitable for households with young children.
"Parents just have to wipe off the common stains left behind by children like tomato sauce, mud, graffiti on the wall without having to worry about it affecting the quality of the colour," he said.
Dulux EasyClean paint is value for money because despite the scrubbing, the paint quality lasts longer as compared with other brands in the market.
"The paint is durable if the wall is cleaned with warm water, using less erosive detergent," Goh said.
Dulux EasyClean is made using tough mineral and colourguard technology which strengthens the paint and provide a better high-scrub resistance.
This environmentally friendly paint has low hazardous volatile organic compound contents and does not emit a strong odour.
The paint comes in 26 ready-mix colours or 2,000 customised colours.
Dulux EasyClean is priced at RM133 per five litre or RM35 per litre.
Price depends on the choice of colours and quality of washability.
