KUALA LUMPUR: Celebration for the annual Spring/Summer Fashion Week was in full swing as the city's style brigade descended upon The Gardens Mall. The occasion was a fun-filled cocktail night at the South Atrium, inspired by the fresh floral tones of spring and the jazzy mood of summer.

Some of Malaysia's top celebrities  were present along with industry friends and  some members of the media.

They were treated to a  banquet and exclusively mixed cocktails and champagne, courtesy of Moet & Chandon Champagne and Belvedere Vodka, throughout the night.

The highlight of the invitation-only fashion gathering was the fashion preview showcasing the season's looks and hottest accessories from DKNY, Ecco, Eyecon, Mulberry and one new addition to the mall, Lancel, with the help of Benefit Cosmetics' summer palette and Centro Hair Salon. Host Bernie Chan and Will Quah opened the showcase wearing the latest apparel by  DKNY.

A five-piece jazz band played at the centre of the stage, as the music accompaniment for the fashion show. A surprise performance by 8-year-old singing sensation, Crystal Lee, ended the night with a huge round of applause as she sang I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.
