PETALING JAYA: Jaya One will be hosting Night Markets, the first Ramadan-themed market, inspired by the quarterly bazaar Markets@JayaOne.

The Night Markets@Jaya One will kick off today  at 6pm at Lower Palm Square (by Old Town) at Jaya One in Section 13, Jalan Universiti.

It will make its debut with nearly 40 specially curated vendors selling Ramadan  favourites and finery such as kaftans, shawls, desserts and many more.

Some of the vendors include Vintage Biri-Biri, an online clothing and accessories retailer offering affordable, unique pieces for vintage lovers; ChifChaff which sells exotic accessories handpicked by avid travellers from all around the world; and Momage Art which has mostly handmade art pieces that tell great heartfelt stories.

Others include Crumbs, a sweet treats brand famous for its designer macaroons; Deeper Than Fashion which sells statement accessories mostly handmade by fashion designer Harmini Asokumar; Wolfgang KL, a local high street wear brand with signature printed tees inspired by music, fashion and culture with each collection made exclusively; and Winkstick, an apparel line providing trendy and classic outfits for special occasions.

In support of the environment, Night Markets@Jaya One is a plastic bag-free event. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own shopping bags and totes.
