PAMPER YOURSELF: Sompoton Spa Sanctuary is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and features traditional therapies

KLANG: SPA enthusiasts can look forward to pampering themselves  at  Sompoton Spa Sanctuary at level one of the Premiere Hotel in Bukit Tinggi, here.

Spa founder and director Megan Tan, her partner Lau Poh Wai and Premiere Hotel manager Alan Yap launched the seventh outlet with a toast to the invited guests and friends recently, in conjunction with International Women's Day.

Customers are assured of personal attention and care once they set their foot inside the spa.

It offers a warm and welcoming ambience with cosy lighting.

Aromas from essential oils and flowers fill the spa suites to uplift the senses of customers.

Soothing music is played in the background.

Comfy sofas in the lounge are provided for customers to enjoy the basic OPI manicure and pedicure treatments or simply relax while waiting for their scheduled treatments.

Equipped with state-of-the-art treatment equipment, the spa features traditional therapies performed by professionals.

Its signature massage uses traditional Malay techniques combined with selected elements of Shiatsu, Swedish and Balinese style massages.

Tan said Spa Sanctuary was created to offer treatments designed to enhance the wellbeing of working executives, tourists, and other clients, especially women, help them to de-stress and pamper them with a wide range of treatments under one roof.

"The professional therapists will help to relieve your sore muscles and aching joints with a full range of facial and body treatments suitable for both men and women," she said.

"The spa has 10 exclusive couples rooms and single suite rooms with shower or jacuzzi and a steam room for men.

"Treatments include facial, body scrub, body wraps, slimming, detox, foot massage and Malay, Balinese and Thai-style body massage."

With more than nine years of international experience in the spa industry, Tan has introduced the organic spa menu with Esse organic skincare products from South Africa and are certified organic by Ecocert (France) and Vegan International. Esse products are free of synthetic chemicals.

Tan said the anti-aging facial was designed for mature skin and premature ageing using Omega 3 oils, such as Rooibos and grape seed extract which are high in anti-oxidants to prevent and repair damaged skin.

"Soak your worries and stresses away with our ultimate wellbeing treatments.

"Start with a foot bath, soothing detox body mask and floral bath followed by an invigorating signature massage and anti-aging facial for total wellbeing.

"Also experience the detox retreat which includes organic body polish, detox body mask with hot blanket and finish with the signature massage. The organic spa menu is focused on promoting a healthier skin and a better life for you," explained Tan.

Thanks to the high standard of service it offers to customers, Sompoton Spa has gained accolades such as the "Best Customer Service" in 2006 and the "Best Spa Ambience" in 2011 by the Malaysia Spa & Wellness Awards.

Invited guests and media representatives were taken on a tour of the spa and were treated to complimentary shoulder massages, lucky draw prizes with complimentary spa vouchers and stays at Premiere Hotel and a sumptuous buffet and live entertainment.
