KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Industrial Development Finance Bhd (MIDF) is organising the Health Week for its employees.

The week-long programme, scheduled to end on Friday, was planned to create awareness among MIDF employees on health-related issues and to  instil the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle as well as a balanced work life.

Among others, a Body Composition Analysis will be conducted by BP HealthCare today and tomorrow from 9am to 5pm.  It is provided free of charge to MIDF employees and members of the public.

A blood donation drive will  be held tomorrow  from 10am to 4pm at Menara MIDF in Jalan Raja Chulan. The event is also open to the public.

"The Health Week is held so that we can remind our staff on the importance of healthy living and to encourage them to improve their lives," said MIDF group managing director Datuk Mohd Najib Abdullah.

"Most will say that they are too busy to go for a health check, so we make it easy by bringing the facility to them.

"Health is after all the most important asset one can have, next to having a sound education.

"A healthy lifestyle will ensure that one is able to continue working hard and enjoy its benefits with loved ones."
