Music of Joy to stage three shows next month

KUALA LUMPUR: World-renowned inspirational group Music of Joy (MOJ) will be back to perform in Malaysia for the second time after a two-year hiatus.

The Australian ensemble, which has been performing for more than 17 years now, will be staging three shows early next month.  

MOJ's previous performance received rave reviews and critical acclaim so much so that audience were clamouring for the group to hold another concert.

Thus, in response to those requests, MOJ will be presenting three evenings of music, themed "Cool Music, Cool Vibes", which are bound to sweep audiences from the highest exhilaration to the deepest bliss.

With four albums to its name, and a fifth one in the pipeline, MOJ is led by John Smiley, an experienced choral teacher and musical repertoire.  

The group's Malaysian shows are actually part of its Southeast Asian tour, which kicks off in Vietnam on Saturday before  moving  to the Philippines and  ending in Taiwan on July 13.    

Those attending the shows will also get to learn about Sahaja Yoga meditation and experience the awakening of their inner energy systems.  

Here, MOJ will be performing first at the Petaling Jaya Civic Centre Auditorium Hall on July  3 at 7.30pm, before proceeding to the Dewan Pavilion, Pusat Keluarga LPPKN (behind Pappa Rich) in Seremban 2 on July 4 (7.30pm).

The last concert will be held at D'Village Resort Ballroom in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, on July 5 (7.30pm).

Entrance to the shows is free but individuals are encouraged to register on  www.sahajmalaysia.org for the complimentary tickets.
