KUALA LUMPUR: RapidKL, a subsidiary of Syarikat Prasarana Negara Berhad (Prasarana), will extend the operating hours of its Ampang Line LRT service to Bukit Jalil on July 24 and 30 to allow Malaysian football fans to go to the Bukit Jalil National Stadium to root for the home team which is playing against Arsenal and Manchester City.

The LRT service to the Bukit Jalil station will be until 12.15am, or until the  station is cleared of people, to reduce the number of cars on the road, and ease  traffic congestion.

Football fans can park their cars at the  LRT car park  at Cempaka, a Pandan Indah, Pandan Jaya, Pudu, PWTC, Sentul, Sentul Timur, Salak Selatan and Sungai Besi stations,  before taking the train to the Bukit Jalil station.

After the game, they can take the LRT from the Bukit Jalil station and exit at the other stations along the Ampang Line.
