ANNIVERSARY JOY: To celebrate the occasion, the hotel’s dining outlets are holding special promotions
THE Renaissance Kuala Lumpur Hotel is celebrating its 16th anniversary, and it is inviting the public to share in the fun. Its four dining outlets have lined up promotions which are bound to titillate the taste-buds and satiate gourmets’ palates.
At the hotel’s east wing, TEMPTations focuses on the Asian Fusion dinner buffet. Priced at RM109++ per person, the melting pot of cuisines include curry laksa, nasi tomato, roti canai and murtabak.
Other favourites include yong tau foo, steamed seabass with preserved radish and home-made sauce, wok-fried vegetarian slice snow seaweed with mixed capsicum, lamb vindaloo, tenggiri, Thai red curry, ayam percik, chana ras massa (chick peas masala) vilay ti subzi, (spicy cabbage stew) and beef moussala.
Japanese delights include sushi and sashimi, while dim sum delicacies include buns and loh mai kai (glutinous rice chicken). The live seafood section has a bountiful supply of baby lobsters, prawns, clams and oysters.
There are also live cooking stations that prepare sushi, sashimi, tom yam noodle soup and vegetables according to one’s preference.
Dessert selections include a chocolate fountain and pulut hitam (black glutinous rice) mousse.
For those seeking something different, Vogue Café at the west wing offers a sumptuous Middle Eastern/Arabian buffet priced at RM95++ per person. All-time favourites include shawarma, tabbouleh and Arabic Mixed Grill in addition to a variety of homemade Mezze and Vogue’s signature specials.
For strictly Japanese cuisine, head for Sagano Restaurant which offers an assortment of 16 sushi, sashimi and signature dishes for lunch and dinner. There is also a lunch buffet from Mondays to Fridays, priced at RM79++ per person.
Dynasty Restaurant (non-halal) on Level 1, East Wing, is offering 16 types of dim sum and 16 signature dishes for lunch and dinner.
