PETALING JAYA: Tea connoisseurs who have been purchasing Rickshaw brand Chinese tea online can now get it at leading hypermarkets here.

The brand which offers Chinese tea in tea bags is renowned in Singapore and Hong Kong.

Unilever Malaysia and Singapore senior brand manager (beverage and dressing category) Lenny Chuah said  Rickshaw offered authentic Chinese tea in a cup, anytime, anywhere.

Rickshaw offers  teas such as Jasmine, Tie Kuan Yin and Oolong. Green tea leaves and jasmine blossoms produce a  floral  aroma which goes well with meat and  seafood.

With soft fruitier notes, Tie Kuan Yin tea yields a sweet long-lasting aftertaste. The tea  complements savoury foods such as dumplings, yam cakes and pastry. The scented Oolong can be served with desserts.

A box of 25 tea bags  is priced at RM8.90 and  a box of 100 is priced at RM29.90.
