APPRECIATION:Viva Home mall holds contests and activities for its customers in conjunction with Mothers Day

IN honour of Mother's Day, Viva Home Shopping Mall played host to a series of Mothers Day events and activities for mothers and children.

This year, the mall organised the Viva Home Love My Mum Contest which ran on Viva Home's Facebook fan page from April 21 to May 13. The contest gave shoppers a grand opportunity to show  of their mothers to the world.

Shoppers had to snap a photo with their mother at any location inside Viva Home Shopping Mall, become a fan of its Facebook page and submit their photo online.

Pictures with the highest number of votes stood the chance to win a grand prize of a bovine leather Milan sofa worth over RM2,000 sponsored by Sweet Dream.

Grand prize winner Lim Eng Ling, from Kapar, Klang emerged the lucky winner.

"I did not expect to win but I am truly excited and overjoyed."

Teh Chin Hoong, from Kajang, Selangor won a Dart Side Table cash voucher worth up to RM2,000 sponsored by Furniture Club.

"I feel honoured and excited. I am  thankful to Viva Home Shopping Mall for this wonderful prize."

Meanwhile Tan Sih Ping, 20, from Jalan Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur won a Sweet Side Table cash voucher also from Furniture Club worth up to RM2,000.

Organised by Viva Home Shopping Mall, the contest attracted an overwhelming response from shoppers in the Klang Valley.

Kenny Chin, general manager of Viva Home Shopping Mall expressed the mall's appreciation to all shoppers for the wonderful photo entries and for their enthusiasm and support.

"The Viva Home Love My Mum Contest is our way of expressing appreciation to all mums for their pleasure and time at our mall.

"The contest was also designed to create a memorable time for families to  indulge and enjoy their shopping experience at our mall," he said.

Viva Home's  Mothers Day campaign also featured free flower arrangement workshops, "I Love My Mum" drawing and colouring workshops as well as many giveaways at the Home Gallery located on the ground floor.
