Tournament in Bandar Baru Bangi

BANGI: KLIA Holdings is looking for teams to take part in its Futsal Open Championship at Galaxy Futsal in Bandar Baru Bangi next month.

Teams will be vying for the Tan Sri  Jamilus Hussein Challenge Trophy, named after the president and CEO of KLIA Premier Holdings Sdn, and the accompanying prize money of RM7,500 and gold medals.

The runners-up will receive RM5,000 and silver while the third-placed team will pocket RM3,000 and bronze medals.

Teams who secure fourth to eighth placings will each receive a hamper worth RM200.

The tournament will be played on a league format for the first round on May 19-20 with 64 groups of four teams each.  

This will be followed by the second round of a knockout format on May 26, with the semi-finals, 3rd-4th placings and final  on May 27.

There is an entry fee of RM190 per team. Entry forms can be downloaded from the www.kliaholdings.com.my website.

Closing date for entries is May 2.
