    Amansari organises blood donation drive

    JOHOR BARU: It only takes a few minutes to donate blood but it is a simple act that could save someone's life.

      Amansari Residence Resort Johor Baru  hold a blood donation drive in collaboration with Hospital Penawar on  Friday at the hotel's ballroom from 9am to 4pm.

      General manager Clement Lee said: "We realised that corporate social responsibility is important and we look for ways to contribute to the community.

      "Anyone who is of good health should donate blood, especially those with rarer blood types."  

      Amansari Residence Resort is encouraging its associates to take part in the drive. It is also inviting to the public to participate in the  blood drive.

      "A simple gesture goes a long way," said Lee.  

      The resort opened in January last year. The 288-room resort is surrounded by an 18-hole golf course, and is situated between Johor Baru's city centre and the Eastern Gate Development Zone of the Iskandar Malaysia development region.
