MERSING: A total of 30 children of police officers attached to Mersing district police station recently attended a motivation camp at the Motivation Centre in Kem Sekakap, here.
Mersing district police chief deputy superintendent Mohd Nor Rasid said the objective of the three-day programme was to give the children some activities during the school break.
He said the programme was aimed at building the participants' leadership skills and also to work together in a team.
"The participants also had to undergo some physical training at the forest to build their endurance skills."
Meanwhile, several programmes involving the public and policemen from the district have been drawn up to strengthen ties between both parties.
