    Endau farmers association holds 10-day community expo

    ENDAU: Pertubuhan Peladang Kawasan Endau will hold a community expo at its premises from tomorrow until April 30.

      Event coordinator Mohd Nizam Zainal said apart from the trading stalls, the 10-day programme included artistes' performances, a vehicle exhibition, zapin and nasyid performance.

    Karaoke,  band and the Idola Kecil competitions and telematches are open to visitor participation.

      "Those living in and around Endau and Mersing are invited to come liven up the event, which is aimed at promoting closer ties between PPK Endau and the local community. The programme aims to provide fun-filled entertainment and recreation for the entire family," he said.

      There are 35 trading lots. A daily turnout of  of 1,000 is expected.

      Mohd Nizam said the event would benefit farmers in the district as it would inform them of the various options and  opportunities  available to them.
