POPULAR: Sangkar Kristal offers a wide range for its ‘buka puasa’ promotion

SANGKAR Kristal restaurant by well-known event caterer L.C. Catering is offering a Ramadan buffet featuring 99 main dishes.

Nasi Arab with Tandoori chicken, rendang daging and sweet-sour fish cutlets are some of the dishes to be savoured at the restaurant which was previously in Danga Bay and is now in Taman Pelangi.

Mee rebus, soto and laksa are among the offerings at the noodles section. Desserts include traditional Malay kuih and fresh fruits.

"Our customers usually come back several times to try out the other dishes as one cannot possibility try all 99 main dishes in one evening," said L.C. Catering proprietor Zaini Atan when met recently.

As with their catering procedures, Sangkar Kristal offers the same quality in their food preparation and final product.

Zaini said quality was important for L.C. Catering to maintain a certain standard.

"We have more than 15 years of experience with catering for major events such as weddings, corporate functions, annual dinners and also small events. With that, it is important for us as a company to constantly strive to improve our quality in all areas, including food and also service to customers," he said.

Sangkar Kristal, which is located near the Pelangi Golf Driving Range, also has a prayer room for Muslim men and women who intend to pray before returning to their meal.

At any time, Sangkar Kristal has 53 tables which can fit a maximum of 500 people. However, that figure can run up to 600 if there are group reservations.

The Ramadan buka puasa promotion at Sangkar Kristal is priced at RM42 nett per person, while children are charged RM20 each.
