    MUAR: Sixty-one students from SMK Sungai Abong in Muar will use the RM300 aid they each received from the Poor Students Trust Fund for their school preparations.

       Beneficiary Gan Ming Xuan, 13, said she was grateful to receive the aid.

      She is now studying in remove classes that help students' transition from various vernacular schools to Form One.  

       Gan said she will use the money to buy school items, including reference books.

       She was among  those present at the aid  presentation ceremony  by Muar Municipal Council councillor Mustafa Abdul Kadir at the school.

      Mustafa was representing Umno Bakri division chief, Datuk Saipolbahari Suib.
