WITH Hari Raya just around the corner, shoppers are flocking to Pekan Ayer Hitam in Batu Pahat to pick up home decor items.
It was recently reported that more makeshift stalls selling these items have been set up. Among them are ceramic and porcelain products.

"My employer increased his stock in anticipation of Aidilfitri. New in the market are plastic replicas of the orchid, chrysanthemum, carnation and daisy," Raja Zuraidah said.
Singaporean Rekha Dusuki, 50, a teacher, who was seen buying plastic carnations and orchids, said she has been coming to Pekan Ayer Hitam regularly for Hari Raya shopping over the years.
"Besides flowers, I also come here for other home decors," said Rekha.
Another regular is Mohd Fairus Yusof, 35, a lecturer, who said he would come with his family during weekends.
"I plan to take leave during Ramadan so that I can have more time to shop for the coming celebration," Fairus said.
