UEM Land treats airport taxi drivers

FOSTERING TIES: Sultan Ismail Airport’s taxi drivers have been appointed brand ambassadors of Nusajaya

  JOHOR BARU: UEM Land Holdings Bhd (UEM Land), distributed packets of buka puasa food as well as Mydin's cash vouchers worth RM80 each to approximately 150 taxi drivers at Senai Taxi Administrative Office, Sultan Ismail Airport here recently.

    The event is part of UEM Land's efforts in fostering closer ties with the Sultan Ismail Airport's taxi drivers who are also the appointed "brand ambassadors" of Nusajaya.

  UEM Land senior general manager Mohd Azmil Abd Shukor said UEM Land is pleased and grateful for the support and cooperation of their brand ambassadors.

  Azmil said the drivers  played a vital role in promoting Nusajaya to  local and foreign tourists and visitors.

 "The taxi drivers help to generate public awareness of Nusajaya," he said.

 "We will continue to engage with the Nusajaya brand ambassadors as they serve an  important role in disseminating the right information about our developments in Nusajaya."  

  Later, Azmil, together with other UEM Land employees,  gave them parcels of buka puasa food and Hari Raya gifts.
