    BANGLADESH'S NATIONAL DAY DO

    GEORGE TOWN: Hundreds of businessmen and professionals thronged the G Hotel grand ballroom to celebrate Bangladesh's national day here recently.

    Bangladesh High Commissioner to Malaysia Atiqur Rahman and wife Ayesha Rahman as well as Bangladesh honorary consul Shaik Ismail Allaudin and wife Nur Uasmeen Mirza were present to greet guests.

     Atiqur, in his speech, attributed the close ties between Malaysia and Bangladesh to the leaders of both countries. He also urged Malaysian entrepreneurs  to continue to take advantage of the business opportunities in his country.

      Later the VIPs  cut a cake to mark the auspicious occasion.
