    STRATEGIC: Hotel Royal Penang is minutes away from the financial district and landmarks

    GEORGE TOWN: HOTEL Royal Penang is a four-star hotel strategically located in the historical enclave of Georgetown. It is also  minutes away from the financial district and other prominent locations.

    The hotel has 276 luxurious rooms such as the superior, deluxe rooms, corporate suite, executive suite, apartment suite and presidential suite. These rooms command panoramic views of the city, overlooking the North Channels.

    The rooms are matched with carefully selected furnishings which reflect a subtle elegance with a timeless charm and comfort for corporate, business and leisure travelers, alike. The hotel offers a number of venues for dinner parties, birthday parties, weddings and meetings.

    The Sri Pinang Ballroom is a cozy, multi-purpose area which can host medium-sized weddings, seating from 100 to 200 persons.

    The hotel offers three banquet packages to choose from -- Sweet Love Package, Forever Love Package or Eternal Love Package.

    For small dinner parties or cocktail, have it at the Cornwallis Room that can host up to 120 persons for banquet and 150 persons for cocktail parties. For small meetings, Wellesley I and Wellesley II offer boardroom setup that can accommodate 15 persons. Another meeting venue is the Esplanade Meeting Room which is able to accommodate 20 persons for classroom and up to 50 persons for theatre setup.

    The hotel's coffeehouse, Grove Brasserie, offers a wide range of international and local cuisine.

    Buffet lunch is served from noon until 2.30pm daily. Guests can enjoy weekend buffet dinners on Fridays and Saturdays.
