GEORGETOWN: Ten contestants aged 6 to 12 took part in the "Snow White Tale" storytelling competition at Gurney Plaza recently.

Many were dressed in colourful flowing dresses and were quite articulate.

They were cheered on by friends and family members.

Judging was based on presentation, creativity and stage presence.

Nicole Ooi was the youngest participant. The winner, Huah Ying Jing, 12, wore a flowing white dress and a white feather headdress. She received cash vouchers worth RM150 and Mirror Mirror movie goodies.

Hajar Adani Azlan, 11, who came second, won cash vouchers worth RM100 while Huah Zhen Ying, 10, who came third received cash vouchers worth RM50 and goodies. By V. Sivaji
