Cafe rocks with signature dishes

HAWK Rock Cafe is the latest new place in town for food lovers to explore.

 IPOH: The pork-free cafe is popular for its local and Western cuisine with a whole new variety of dishes to choose from. The menu features dishes ranging from noodles and rice to snacks.

Some of the popular dishes are seafood udon soup with prawns, eggs, fish and vegetables.

There's also Marmite boneless chicken rice, Australian rib-eye steak with black pepper sauce, and deep-fried "mermaid", which is a salted fish dish.

Other dishes include the Australian paprika lamb loin with capsicum sauce.

Food lovers should not miss the cafe's signature dishes, including the Hawk Rock French skinless wrap chicken chop, pandan chicken and fried rice.

As for snacks, there's deep-fried seafood tow foo, spring rolls, stir-fried sausages, potato wedges, and other light snacks to savour that are prepared by the cafe's in-house chef Alex Ng, 55.

The cafe offers a variety of drinks including ice-blended coffee, tea and juices.

The outlet opens daily from 10.30am to 2am, except on Sundays.
