STAR-STUDDED: Crowd in frenzy when stars of Taiwanese hit movie make an appearance at exclusive screening
GEORGE TOWN: HUNDREDS of fans recently had the chance to meet the lead cast and director of the movie Din Tao: Leader of the Parade, held at TGV Cinemas in 1st Avenue here.
The fans gathered as early as 6pm for the 8pm session with lead cast Alan Kuo and Crystal Lin Yu-Hsuan and director Feng Kai.
The crowd went into a frenzy when the stars and the director arrived.
They were given the opportunity to mingle and have photographs taken.
The fans were then treated to an exclusive screening of the movie.
The movie is about renewing the spiritual credibility of Din Tao by filling traditional symbols with new inspirations, and reconciling rifts between generations, rival troupes and homegrown cultures.
TGV Cinemas chief executive officer Kenny Wong said they are looking into exploring fresh avenues to provide moviegoers with interesting and unique experiences.
TGV Cinemas is also hosting a contest in conjunction with Mothers Day this month.
