    SPEND a relaxing evening with soothing traditional music and dances at the G Hotel's high tea on the last Sunday of every month.

    I GEORGE TOWN: This Sunday, the hotel's G Spot Jazz Club will showcase joget and rock 'n roll dances.

    Members of the audience are encouraged to take to the dance floor. They will guided by professional dancers.

    At a recent session, guests also enjoyed a buffet that included finger sandwiches, sweetmeats and hot snacks.

    Other popular buffet items included chicken ham with gherkins, smoked salmon with cucumber and horseradish, vegetable spring rolls with a chilli dip, and miniature pastries.

    Assorted cupcakes, Nyonya and Malay kuih along with teh tarik and ais bandung were also served.

    The following months will also see performances of other dances, including bhangra and Latin dances.

    "This is our way of keeping alive the country's traditional and cultural dances," said G Hotel public relations manager, Christina Tan.
