Hockey players feted at 'buka puasa' event

IPOH: The Perak Hockey Association (PHA) organised a buka puasa dinner for 100 hockey players and officials at Stadium Sultan Azlan Shah here recently.

PHA president Datuk Abdul Rahim Md Arif said some Perak and Penang Club Nur Insafi players will team up to participate in the coming national hockey league premier division next month.

The association also honoured Tahirruddin Ahmad who served the association from 1998 until 2004 as vice-president.

He received a souvenir from Rahim in a presentation ceremony witnessed by PHA members. By Diana Yeoh
