Hospital holds medical camp

GEORGE TOWN: KPJ Penang Specialist Hospital recently held a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme in conjunction with Nurses Day.

The hospital, which is part of the largest KPJ group of hospitals, organised a medical camp to provide parents and children with basic health examination.

Also held were a health education programme, emphasising on the children's personal hygiene and proper hand washing techniques, and recycling activities through fun games.

The hospital management, in celebrating Nurses Day with Pusat Anak Permata Negara Nibong Tebal, contributed a set of KPJ nurses uniform as part of the children's education.

Other contributions included the distribution of snacks and gift packs to each family.

The children, parents and teachers were later feted to a high-tea together with the nurses. By Melissa Darlyne Chow
